Mode of Preparation :Leaves crushed for paste and the paste is mixed with little honey for consumption. Stem dried partially & burnt for smoke. Stem bark dried & ground to powder and then mixed with honey. Root is crushed for decoction. Leaf cooked eaten (traditional dish called as ‘Ootti’).

Ingredients :
Ailment Treated:Leaf paste with honey is taken against cough, fever and dysentery. Semi-dried stem is smoked against asthma and bronchitis. Root decoction is given in bronchitis . Bark powder with honey is given in asthma.
