Ingredients :Hydrolysis, l-arabinose, d-galactose and a complex monobasic acid, the bar contain C – 8% phlobatannin and may be used for tannin and dyeing purposes.
Ailment Treated:Hot fomented leaf is applied in muscular sprain. Bark is astringent and used as lotion in ulcer, eye-sores and stimulant in gout. Leaf decoction is used in apathy of mouth, tooth ache, inflammations and elephantiasis. Fruit juice is used as emetic.
