Ingredients :Rhizome yields an essential oil and cineol, ocimene, 1-ar-curcumene, d-camphore, d-linalool, d-borneol and zingibeol.
Ailment Treated:Rhizome is stimulant. Rhizome paste is used for local application in sprain and bruises. Rhizome decoction is used for gargling in throat sore.
Source:Generally cultivated in valley areas. Not so common but can be cultivated extensively.
