Mode of Preparation :Leafy shoot cooked/boiled for extract. Leaves soaked in water for infusion. Fresh plant is crushed for juice. Flowers crushed for juice. Honey is added in the preparation.

Ingredients :Alkaloid & glucoside are reported in leaves & flower.
Ailment Treated:Leafy shoot decoction is used for jaundice, asthma, indigestion, discomfort or pain and paralysis. Leaf infusion is used for fever. Fresh plant juice is used for local application on scabies. Flower juice is used as remedy for cough and cold. Leaf juice is used in eye drop, catarrh and cephalagia.
Source:Generally grown in valley areas prominently along road sides and grazing grounds, river banks etc.
