Mode of Preparation :Ripe fruit pulp mixed with common salt for paste. Fresh fruits can be made pickles. Seeds ground into powder. Ripe fruit eaten and used for cleaning utensils [brass].

Ingredients :Fruits contain Ascorbic acid, Carotene, Riboflavin, Thiamine & Niacin. Seeds contain Linoleic, Oleic, Palmitic & Stearic acids.
Ailment Treated:Leaves are antipyretic, scabies, intermittent fevers, intestinal worms and anthelmintic. Ripe fruit pulp is given in fever, urinary stone cases, bleeding piles and jaundice. Seed powder is good for asthma and jaundice.
