Mode of Preparation :Bark dried & ground to powder & mixed with sugar candy. Flowers dried & ground to powder. Leaves crushed for paste. Bark crushed for decoction. Bark crushed for extract. Flower is used in making garlands.

Ingredients :Kernels yield a fatty oil. Chemical compounds like saponin, rhamnose, arabinose, glucose, tannin, palmitic, linoleic and oleic are reported.
Ailment Treated:Leaf paste is used in snake bite. Bark decoction/extract is used as gargle in sore-throat. Powdered flower is used as snuff in headache and pain. Bark powder with sugar candy is applied for tooth ache. Unripe fruit is used as a masticatory and helps to fix loose teeth. Seeds are used for preparation of suppositories in constipation of children.
