Mode of Preparation :Bark crushed for extraction for decoction. Flower and young fruit crushed for paste. Root dried & ground to powder and mixed with milk. Bark soaked in water for infusion.

Ingredients :Bark on analysis shows presence of tannins. It also contains lupeol, B-sitosterol and its D-glucoside.
Ailment Treated:Bark extract along with honey / bark decoction is prescribed in female diseases (to increase fertility in female) Flower and young fruit paste is applied to snake-bit. Root powder mixed with milk is useful in impotency and is said to be blood purifier. Bark infusion is applied to small poxes and other skin diseases.
