Ingredients :Rhizome yields an essential oil. The oil contains cincol and methyl chavicol.
Ailment Treated:Rhizome juice/decoction used in gastric complaints, helps to remove blood clots and other purulent matter in the body. Rhizome juice is applied against baldness. Rhizome powder mixed with coconut oil is applied to mumps as a cicatrizant. Rhizome paste is good for local application on tumours, swellings and wounds.
Source:Cultivated in valley areas and found wild in low-altitude hills.
