Ailment Treated:Plant is astringent, refrigerant, anodyne, ophthalmic, diuretic, constipating, expectorant, depurating and febrifuge. Leaves are used in insomnia and paralysis. Crushed plant with common salt is applied to abdomen to cure haemorrhage.
