Mode of Preparation :Leaves crushed & squeezed for juice. Leafy shoot is crushed for decoction. Leaves crushed for paste. Leaves roasted for local application. Shoot is cooked-eaten & occasionally used in the preparation of traditional salad called as “Singju”.

Ingredients :
Ailment Treated:Leaf juice is given in dysentery and cough. Leaf decoction is given against jaundice. Leaf paste is applied on wounds. Roasted leaf is applied against muscular sprain.
Source:Very common in valley areas more prominently in paddy fields & pasture lands.
