Ingredients :Plant contains arborine, skimmianine, arborinine, homoglycosolone, homoglycone, glycone, glycozoline and glycosinine.
Ailment Treated:Leaf is used as an ingredient in the preparation of traditional herbal shampoo. Pounded root mixed with sugar are given in fever. Leaf extract is used in liver complaints and vermifuge. Leaf paste is used to eczema and other skin troubles. Plant is also considered as indigenous medicinal for cough, rheumatism, anaemia, diabetes and jaundice. Wood is used in snake- bite.
