Ingredients :Plant contains major component of the essential oil (ether methyl cinnamate, linalool) in different samples. Other components include ocimene, linalyl acetate, eugenol and trans-anethol.
Ailment Treated:Decoction of leaves are used as mouth wash to remove bad odour. The juice of the leaves along with honey is given in fever, cough and colic pain. The crushed leaves are used on the fresh wound to cure stop bleeding. Crushed leaves with little common salt is applied to scalp in baldness and alopecia.
