Mode of Preparation :Fresh leafy shoot crushed for paste. Fresh leaves crushed & smashed for juice. Fresh leaves, used as spice and used in the preparation of traditional chutney.
Mode of use :Fresh and Local Application
Ingredients :Plant yields a volatile oil, Basil oil, with clove like scent.
Ailment Treated:Leafy shoot paste is useful for local application on forehead against fever. Leaf juice is useful in throat complaints, earache and ringworms.
