Ingredients :Commercially used fragrant resinous agar wood is formed in the interior of the old tree. The tree contains plenty of oleoresin and has irregular dark patches. Agar wood on distillation yield an essential oil known as agar oil.
Ailment Treated:The wood is acrid, bitter, thermogenic, digestive, carminative, deodorant, sudorific, anodyne, anti-inflammatory, depurative, cardio tonic and tonic. The oil is astringent, acrid, bitter and antileprotic. Agar is useful in dizziness.
