Ingredients :The plant contains about 0.1 – 0.2% alkaloids, polyphenols, flavonoids and triterpenes. It also contains a fatty oil.
Ailment Treated:Plant is diuretic, sedative, anti-spamodic and chronic urinary complaints. The plant is used for dyspepsia, constipation with flatulence, hepatic congestion and pustular skin eruptions. Powder made from spores is used in epilepsy and pulmonary disorders.
