Ingredients :Stem contains friedelan-3-a-ol, friedelan-3-b, 30-diol diacetate, epi-friedelanol, lupeol cinnamate, lupenone, taraxerone, b-amyrin, b-Taraxerol and antiquorin.
Ailment Treated:Plant juice is used in nervine troubles, dropsy, chest pain and constipation. Stem decoction is given in gout and dropsy. Roots are bitter, purgative, emetic, stomachic and dyspepsia. Saline extract of plant is antibiotic. Latex is applied on boils for early suppuration and healing.
