Ingredients :Leaves contain maximum amount of oil and camphor. Camphor contain varies from 61-80.5%.Presence of camphor, b- sitosterol, oleanolic acid and ursolic acid are also reported.
Ailment Treated:Decoction of the leaves are used in fever and cough. Plant is insect repellant. Leaf decoction is used as an ingradient in the preparation of traditional hair lotion. The leaves are acrid, anti-bacterial, opthalmic, deodorant, bronchitis, anorexia and viral infections.
