Mode of Preparation :Leaves crushed for juice/ paste. Leaves crushed for decoction. Leaves/bark soaked with water for infusion.

Ingredients :Seed kernel yields an oil similar to that of bitter almonds. Fruits contain vitamin A.
Ailment Treated:Leaf paste is used to cure worm diseases of infants and also used in necrosis of the jaw. Leaf decoction is used for iradicating lices (traditional hair lotion). Leaf juice is used for destroying maggots in cattle’s wound. The heart wood is astringent, bitter, digestive & diuretic. Infusion of leaves/barks are given for hooping cough. Flowers are anthelmintic.
