Mode of Preparation :Fruits are edible. Leaf crushed for decoction.

Ingredients :Plant contains Campesterol, sticmasterol and cholesteriol. Fruit contains oils having x-pinene, camphene, b-pinene, myrcene, a-phellandrene-3-carene, (+)limonene, p-cumene, gama-terpinene, terpinolene, nonyl aldehyde and citronellol.
Ailment Treated:Roots are laxative, anthelmintic, diuretic and useful in constipation. Buds and flowers are agstingent, stimulant, anti-emetic, appetizer, anorexia, vomiting and tumours. Ripe fruits are sweet, emolient, sour, stimulant, carminative, emmenagogue and cardiac stimulant. Seed are stimulant, anti-inflammatory, emmenagogue and haemorroids. Leaves are used for traditional hair lotion.
