Ingredients :The alcoholic extract of the roots yield sterol glycoside. The aerial parts yield several sterol viz, colesterol, campesterol, cholesterol, sitosterol and stigmasterol.
Ailment Treated:Tender leaf is cooked and eaten against diabetes and for regulation of blood pressure. Leaves are used as bitter, tonic, vermifuge, laxative and cholagogue. Leaves and roots are used in external application for tumour. Leaf extract is used in fever and bowel disorder.
