Ingredients :The plant yields a volatile oil.
Ailment Treated:Fresh leaf decoction is taken in case of paralysis and epilepsy. Leaf decoction is used for high blood pressure. Root soup is stomachic.
Source:Originated from Carribean region of America but naturalized in Manipur. Found growing wild in valley areas & low altitude hills. Now-a-day cultivated in kitchen gardens and sold in the local markets.
